Who We Are

Hope of Children (HOC) is a non-governmental and non-religious organization. HOC was established April 2, 1992 by Venerable Muny Vansaveth who is a Buddhist monk. The principle focus is the support of children who have been affected by family violence and AIDs.

Whilst giving basics such as shelter, food, education, and love, we strive to give the children skills they need to be independently functional within the community.

What We Are Doing

  • Providing shelter and education to the orphans
  • Protecting children from trafficking
  • Providing sufficient nutrition every day to the orphans
  • Training vocational skills for the orphans to be independent
  • Providing alternative activities to the youth in order to prevent drug usage
  • Providing some projects for independence

HOC welcomes the opportunity to speak with all individuals interested in volunteering at the campus in Norea.
